Dead or Decomposing Animals
Superior Wildlife Services is a proud member of NWCOA

Often, homeowners can smell a dead animal long before they are able to locate it. Scott and Sandra will survey your home and property, quickly locating the deceased animal, bagging it, and removing it to be disposed of properly. By identifying the animal, we can seal any access points into the home to prevent a future issue with this species. We can also provide damage repair services to clean up the odor caused by the rotting animal and any damage it may have caused before it died. We know that not everyone can handle wildlife removal, which is why we are here to help.
For wildlife removal, of both living and deceased animals, please reach out to Scott and Sandra at Superior Wildlife Services today. We can schedule an appointment to remove any animals from your property and provide a quote for service and potential repairs. We look forward to serving you.

F.A.Q.
We get a lot of questions regarding to the what, when, how, where, and why of the way we conduct business.
There are way too many to try and list them all, but we have compiled a list of the most common questions that we hear on our day to day life out in the field and as well on the phones.
Hey, we don’t claim to know everything. If we don’t know the answer, we will find it for you or point you in the right direction to find it!
Do you handle Dogs and Cats?
We DO NOT handle dogs and cats. This is best left for your local animal control department which may be found in your phone book or on Google.
Do you resolve insect problems as well?
No, we only deal with wildlife animals and leave the insect problems to the experts of a pest control company. We may recommend one to you if you have an insect problem or we discover a problem during an assessment at your structure.
Do you remove dead animals?
Yes we do. It is one of the nastiest jobs we do in this line of work. We will remove any dead animal from inside, under or around a structure.
What is this going to cost me?
We are a private business and a service for hire. Every job is different, regardless if it is the same animal from structure to structure. In order to have a comprehensive scope of the project we must see the structure and surrounding area in person to know what we are dealing with. The majority of cost is due to difficulty of the job and the size of your structure and the amount of damage that has been done that we must repair and seal to prevent future wildlife problems.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, certified check, major credit cards (through Pay Pal), and money orders.
How long does it take to solve the problem?
Typically it will take 5-10 days to resolve your problem. There are of course situations that make jobs last longer. Size of the property, structure, weather, and access, and quantity of the animals are all factors into the length of how long a job may take.
Do I have to have an animal problem to have my home/business inspected and sealed?
Not at all! We highly recommend a home assessment to be done on any structure. Especially new home or business owners, people in close proximity to water, woods, commercial food establishments, or areas being cleared for building. Wildlife is at its highest concentration in these areas. It will save you a lot of money in the long run to have a home animal proofed before you have a problem. If a neighbor has a bat problem, where do you think the bats may go when they are sealed out from their structure?
Can't I just use mothballs?
Sure. If you want to keep facing the problem over and over again. Mothballs are a temporary relief to your problem, at best. They will quickly dissipate and the smell will be non- threatening to the target animal. Most wildlife become accustomed to the smell and it does not affect them long term. You need a professional to assess your issue and resolve it as soon as possible before it costs you a lot more money. We have dealt with clients that put me off for months, only to call me back after they tried the “do it yourself” path. They did nothing and the animals had done more damage in that time, as well as now requiring more labor for us to remove their futile attempts at exclusion costing more money.
If I trap an animal will you pick it up?
Sure. We will pick up a captured animal that you have trapped providing it is not a domesticated animal. We do charge a fee for the Pick-up and removal. It will also be necessary for us to retain the trap, due to the chance of an animal escaping during a trap to cage transfer.
Is there any type of wildlife you will not deal with?
Alligators, bears, panthers, gopher tortoises and or any other Florida federally protected wildlife.
Each county has a state-licensed trapper that will remove the alligator at no charge to you and can get it done quicker than we can.
Please contact the FL Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission if you have a nuisance alligator. Their website is https://myfwc.com/ and they can be reached at (863) 462-0015.
I found/have an injured animal, what do I do with it?
First and foremost, do not put yourself or other people at risk trying to handle an injured animal! This is a time when they are most likely to defend themselves to survive. Most birds are best left alone. They do not survive well in captivity. Most rehabilitators will only deal with predatory birds such as eagles, hawks, ospreys, and
owls.
